The Usual Approach
- Treat the symptom
- Prescribe first, ask questions later
- 15-minute appointment
- Separate everything — hormones here, gut there
- Medication to manage
- “Your labs are normal” — end of conversation
Functional Medicine · Telehealth
Dr. Amy Person partners with women who are tired of being told their labs are "fine." Through advanced testing, time, and a personal protocol, we get to the root — and stay there until you feel like yourself again.

You've been told your labs are normal. You've been handed a prescription for the symptom but never an answer for the cause. You've started to wonder if this is just how it is now.
It doesn't have to be.
Dr. Amy Person is a women's functional health specialist. She doesn't ask what medication will quiet your symptoms. She asks what your body is trying to tell you — and what it actually needs to heal.
Dr. Amy asks what your body needs, then takes time to listen.
Functional health
Conventional medicine is very good at emergencies. But when something is chronically wrong — when you're exhausted, hormonally off, inflamed, or just not yourself — it often doesn't have the tools to help. It looks at individual markers in isolation. It treats the symptom in front of it. And when the numbers are "in range," it tells you you're fine.

Meet Dr. Amy
Dr. Amy Person has spent over 15 years in women's health. She started as a prenatal and pediatric chiropractor — a specialty that taught her to think about the body as one connected system, not a collection of separate complaints. Over time, she pursued functional medicine and became a certified gut health practitioner, drawn by a simple frustration: her patients were still struggling even when conventional medicine said there was nothing left to treat.
She built her practice around nutrition, whole-person care, and genuine curiosity about what's actually going on — not what's easiest to prescribe. She specializes in Women's Health, hormone balancing, gut health, autoimmune conditions, and anti-aging medicine. She takes her time. She asks questions most doctors don't. And she doesn't consider the job done until you understand your own body better than you did before you found her.
