Dr. Amy Person completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic and continued on for an additional several years to receive her Diplomate in Pediatrics and Maternal health. After she opened her first practice in 2008, she came to the realization that her true passion was women's health. After an injury and subsequent surgery forced her to step aside from full time practice , she took the opportunity to further her education and certifications in Functional Medicine. She has studied under multiple physicians that are well respected in the field. Specializing in Women's Health, hormone balancing, gut health, auto-immune conditions, and anti-aging medicine, she is also a certified gut health practitioner. Her career has led her to acquire patients from across the country and multiple state licenses. She has been a guest lecturer and podcast invitee to speak on the topics she loves the most, women's empowerment, hormones and women's health. She has established a reputation as a practitioner that other providers seek out for referring to or for their own personal care. She also meets weekly with other providers to help educate them on clinical applications and cases.
Dr Person resides in Colorado to be near her family.
Hormones are the name of the game. They impact every aspect of a woman's health, from pre-puberty to menopause. They are also constantly changing, due to age, stress, other health conditions, lifestyle, and nutrition. Keeping them balanced and optimal is an ongoing job. Dr Person looks at the entire picture to best determine what needs to be done to keep them optimal, and helping you to live your best, vital, healthy life.
Have you been diagnosed with IBS? Do you have chronic fatigue? Are you a man that is looking to live a healthy lifestyle and keep your hormones balanced? Are auto-immunities affecting your daily life? These are also some of the health conditions and cases that Dr Person acquires. Most health conditions have a root that can be found and addressed. Don't hesitate to ask if your case is one that she will accept!
Due to the amount of cases Dr Person is asked to take on, she is only offering Telehealth services at this time.
